Owl Bags & Quick Tutorial!

I kept myself out of mischief today & made these three bags!
I have to say I'm quite pleased with how they turned out!

Instructions
(These instructions presume some basic sewing Knowledge)

 To make a bag you will need:
 FQ  and cut off 2 strips 22" x 3" for the Handles
The rest of the FQ folded in Half to cut out the owl shape for the bag
scraps of Fabric to make the eyes & Beak
23" of 16mm bias binding
~~~~~
The Owl pattern is just a freehand drawing I made myself
For the eyes,  cut a 3" circle & a 1.5" circle using a compass & pencil
The Beak I also drew freehand
1. Add the appliqué to the front of the bag
2.  With the right sides together sew together leaving an opening at the top, Make sure you do a double seam to give extra strength!
3. Fold, Press & Sew the Handles
4. added Bias binding to the top of the bag
5. added the handles
6.Turn the right way around & press
You could also add velcrose to the top of the bag if required!
